In the fall of 2025, I began pursuing my MFA in Visual Studies at Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Identity, racial trauma, micro-aggressions, and transnational adoption have become the keystones of my practice. My main motivation is to be able to have discussions on racial, childhood, and medical trauma. I want the viewer to be a little uncomfortable but not so much that they're nervous to ask questions or explore / discover more. I want the viewer to question what makes something American and what makes something Chinese.
